By accessing or using FollowUpHQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our service.

Use of the Service

FollowUpHQ is a contact follow-up management platform for small businesses. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the service to store illegal content, spam contacts, or violate any applicable laws.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial period, continued access requires an active paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify trial terms at any time.

Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees through Polar, our Merchant of Record. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time. However, as Merchant of Record, Polar independently retains discretionary authority to issue refunds under its own policies, regardless of the cancellation terms described above - see Polar's Terms for its current, authoritative refund policy.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all contact data and information you enter into FollowUpHQ. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any loss resulting from scheduled or unscheduled downtime.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Limitation of Liability

FollowUpHQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
